I’ve been working on pairing photographs for the last few months from a stack of a few hundred I’ve printed. It’s rad to see your pairings here too, I like seeing how other photographers find connections.
That sounds like an epic project Chris! Especially cool that you are making those pairings with physical prints. I do think it helped that I could find the connections between Tom’s photographs for him, sort of seeing the work objectively as a curator. It would not be as easy to find the pairings with my own work and I’m curious if Tom would have found the pairings on his own.
Enjoyed this a lot. And the blue pallet on the salmon wall is delicious.
I agree - I confess I chuckled to myself as I wrote this because the salmon description applies whether it is raw or cooked!
