Enjoyed reading of the similarities and the visual contrasts. The ice deposits are dramatic.

Yes - the ice reminded us of Game of Thrones with the ground freezing before the white walkers appeared!

It's wonderful how a simple weather change makes a tree look so different!

Yes, and how much of the background that wall of fog obscured on my first visit. It will be nice to go back there in summer and capture it leafed out. Remember summer?

Yes, the fog is lovely. I don't miss summer, it will be here soon. I wish this winter was bolder.

If someone still needed proof that fog is just magical, just look at these photos side by side!

Beautiful winter scenes. Love the frozen water drips hanging from the bench and branches, the views now and then are marvellous!

I lived for about 2 years in Westchester County, I'm glad I got to explore around during the winter, the scenery is beautiful!

Thanks Xavi, great to hear you know the area. I was just reading your bio on your website. Was it your work as a sommelier that took you to Westchester County?

That's right Tom. I worked at an exclusive Jewish country club.

I’ve always liked when people show their work framed. If I may ask are you printing and framing, or using Photoshop?

We're happy that you weren't sure and needed to ask Chris! We use a mockup in Photoshop for these. Happy to share which one we use if you're interested. Contact us via email through our website (pappasbland.com) and we'll send you the link.

I'd heard that the Hudson was at sea level for some distance up, but hadn't been able to find how far. Thanks for the info! :-)

Fascinating isn't it? I've learned a lot about the river in the past year specifically even though I've lived so close to it almost my entire life. Did you happen to follow Lewis Pugh's swim down the Hudson last year from the source in the Adirondacks to New York Harbor? It was a real eye opener for me!
