Gorgeous image and fascinating process. Can’t wait to see where else this leads you. Maybe build a larger wood window box on wheels like those mobile chicken coops?

Thank you Davin, and yes there are so many ways to expand upon this. Scale is certainly one, up to a point. The challenge with increasing the scale dramatically would be blocking the light though!

Staple one of those heavy felt painters drop cloths over the “dark” end and then cut a slit in as an entrance you can squeeze through?
