NEW TRAJECTORY
I was already drifting out of New York City’s orbit long before I realized it. I was having a conversation the other day with my friend about how New York City doesn’t belong to us anymore – it certainly felt like it used to, but I realize now that the city has changed, I’ve changed, and now it belongs to others. Our future home and studio up in the Berkshires in Massachusetts is heading towards completion and I know our days left here in the shadow of NYC are dwindling so forgive me for feeling a little nostalgic right now.
What is life going to be like not having “the city” right there? Well, we’ll find out soon enough but in the meantime I feel the need to make our last few visits into the city count before we move. Our forays into Chinatown definitely scratched an itch, so indulge me as I share a few more photographs from those shoots!
LAST HOURS FOR ART DROP #5
And finally, Art Drop #5 closes tomorrow so this is the last call to purchase a print before these artworks are archived for at least a year.
It’s such a busy month for us here, perhaps for you as well, so tomorrow we’ll be turning the page on our October art drop and opening our eyes to something new and different for November. We’ll see what we can create between now and then…
Bye for now,
